Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory year-end accounts for varied portfolio.
• Produce management accounts and undertake bookkeeping.
• Prepare corporate and personal tax computations and returns.
• Review juniors' work and provide guidance.
• Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
• Work closely with partners for client service delivery.

Accounts Senior – Newthorpe, Nottinghamshire

Role Responsibilities

• Preparing statutory year-end accounts for a varied portfolio of limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
• Producing management accounts and undertaking bookkeeping as required
• Preparing corporate and personal tax computations and returns
• Reviewing work completed by junior team members and providing guidance, support, and training where appropriate
• Liaising directly with clients to build strong, long-lasting relationships
• Working closely with partners and managers to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of client services

Skills & Experience

• ACA / ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified (QBE also considered)
• Experience within an accountancy practice is essential
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and tax compliance
• Competent user of accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, IRIS, or similar
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage your workload effectively and work to deadlines
