Christopher Brian Recruitment Limited is helping a well-established accountancy practice in Tunbridge Wells find an Accounts Senior / Senior Accountant to join a growing team. You will handle a varied client portfolio and take on more responsibility with clear progression paths.

This role offers hybrid working, direct client engagement, and ongoing technical training to support career development towards manager-level roles.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in a UK accountancy practice
• Ability to prepare and review statutory accounts under FRS 102, FRS 102 1A and FRS 105
• Experience with corporation tax returns and computations
• Experience with management accounts and VAT returns
• Strong client-facing skills
• ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified or QBE

Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts under FRS 102, FRS 102 1A and FRS 105
• Preparing corporation tax returns and computations
• Preparing/reviewing management accounts and VAT returns
• Acting as a regular point of contact for clients
• Dealing with day-to-day accounting and tax queries
• Reviewing work completed by junior and semi-senior team members
• Supporting and developing less experienced members of the team
• Working closely with Managers and Partners on more complex client work

Education

ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified or QBE

In this role, you'll be preparing and reviewing year-end accounts, corporation tax returns and other accounting work while taking responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients.

We're working with a well-established accountancy practice in Tunbridge Wells that's looking for an Accounts Senior / Senior Accountant to join its growing team.

The Role
