Puro Associates, a growing accountancy practice in Newcastle upon Tyne, is looking for an experienced Accounts Senior to join its friendly team.

You will prepare statutory and year-end accounts for diverse client portfolios, liaise directly with clients, and help ensure high-quality outputs across VAT and outsourcing work. The role offers hybrid working after probation and opportunities for professional development within an established firm.

Qualifications

• AAT Level 4 qualified or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of Xero, Sage and QuickBooks.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• A proactive, organised and detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsabilités

• Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, including more complex assignments.
• Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders and partnerships, alongside VAT and some outsourcing work.
• Liaise directly with clients to obtain information, resolve queries and maintain strong working relationships.
• Prepare high-quality accounts files for review by managers and directors.
• Work between the office and client sites as required.

Salary: Up to £40,000
