Job Description
- Prepare statutory accounts, tax returns, VAT returns, and business plans for a variety of clients including sole traders, partnerships, limited companies/LLP's.
- Overseeing a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
- Nurturing client relationships and offering tax and accounting advice supported by the Client Manager.
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members.
- Assist in implementing cloud-based software for clients and providing financial health checks for clients.
- Assisting on ad hoc projects.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Senior should have:
- A professional qualification (ACA, AAT, ACCA etc.) in Accounting or a related field.
- Proven experience within a similar role in the accountancy sector.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial procedures.
- Excellent team leadership skills and a collaborative approach to work.
- Exceptional client management skills with a keen eye for new business opportunities.
- Experience of implementing and maintaining financial systems and procedures.
