Base pay range

Our client is looking to appoint a permanent Accounts Senior to join their growing team of experts. This role will involve preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing a portfolio of corporate clients, VAT Returns, corporation tax and escalating account queries. You will be a key point of contact for clients, delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP/IFRS.
• Review and finalise accounts prepared by junior team members.
• Handle a varied portfolio of clients across different sectors.
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts and VAT returns.
• Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and other third parties.
• Provide training, support, and guidance to junior staff.
• Provide advice on dividends corporation tax.
• Ensure deadlines and budget targets are met while maintaining high quality standards.
• Working closely with internal teams.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Corporate Accounts.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Cloud Software).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
