The Role:

The successful Accounts & Audit Senior will play a key role in managing a portfolio of clients, overseeing both accounting and audit assignments from planning to completion. Working closely with clients across a variety of sectors, they will ensure the delivery of high-quality service while supporting junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and executing audit engagements from planning to completion
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for a diverse range of clients
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and audit standards
• Supervising and mentoring junior team members, providing guidance and training
• Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
• Identifying and resolving accounting and audit issues proactively
• Assisting with business advisory work where required

You:

• ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified with relevant practice experience
• Strong experience in both audit and accounts preparation within an accountancy practice
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
• A proactive and analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff is desirable
