TPF Recruitment are delighted to support a well-established independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Eastleigh, seeking an Accounts Semi-Senior to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with accountancy practice experience to develop technical skills, gain greater client exposure and progress their career in a supportive environment.

Full study support is available for candidates currently studying, or planning to study AAT, ACA or ACCA.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a UK accountancy practice.
• Experience preparing accounts for a range of business entities.
• Studying AAT, ACA or ACCA, or keen to begin a professional qualification (study support provided).
• Strong communication skills with a proactive and positive approach.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Assisting with the preparation of corporation tax and self-assessment tax returns.
• Producing management accounts for a range of clients.
• Supporting bookkeeping and VAT return preparation.
• Liaising directly with clients to answer queries and build strong working relationships.
• Working closely with senior members of the team on a varied client portfolio.
• Developing your technical knowledge and taking on additional responsibility as your experience grows.

The firm actsfor a broad portfolio of clients across a variety of sectors, ranging from soletraders and partnerships through to established owner-managed businesses andlimited companies.
