Description: Accounts Senior - Farnham - 15:00 Friday finish ACA ACCA Surrey

Your new company
My client is a chartered accountancy firm based in Farnham, Surrey. Well regarded in the local community, they provide accountancy, tax, and business advice and services to individuals, start-up companies, small businesses, and companies and organisations of all sizes. Their aim is to improve their clients' financial performance and save them money in the process. They pride themselves on providing friendly and down-to-earth accountancy, tax, and business services in a professional and ethical manner.

Your new role
You will:

• Help ensure the smooth running of the office, to provide clients with accounts, tax returns and personal tax returns, dealing with ad hoc matters and working on IRIS.
  
• Tax - Knowledge of capital allowances, private proportion and other tax adjustments is essential, so the Accounts Senior has the ability to produce sole trade, partnership and company tax computations.
• Auditing is an advantage, in particular Solicitors Accounts Rules.
  
• Planning work in advance and managing a client base is important.
  
• Any other duties which may from time to time be reasonably requested
  

What you'll need to succeed
You may be part or fully qualified accountant with Practice experience of at least 3+ years. You will be able to prepare accounts for and manage a portfolio of clients and be skilled in general practice work including statutory compliance, VAT and tax returns. You will be detail-oriented and accurate, trustworthy, reliable and self-motivated. Any experience you have with IRIS; SAGE, Quick Books, Xero would be advantageous.
