TPF Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a thriving accountancy practice in their search for an Accounts Assistant / Accounts Semi Senior to join their growing team. Qualifications

• UK accountancy practice experience is essential.
• Grounding in accounts preparation and basic tax/compliance.
• Confident with client liaison and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and companies.
• Bookkeeping using Xero, FreeAgent, QuickBooks and Excel.
• Prepare year-end records and VAT returns.
• Assist with self assessment tax returns and basic corporation tax computations.
• Liaise with clients and support the wider team on accounting tasks.
