Qualifications

• Experience in a UK accountancy practice setting is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and an organised approach.
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting software is expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and companies.
• Produce working papers and ensure files are accurate and presentable.
• Assist with corporation tax computations and returns where applicable.
• Support with VAT returns and bookkeeping as needed.
• Liaise with clients to request records and resolve queries to meet deadlines.
• Mentor junior colleagues and review basic work where appropriate.
• Collaborate with managers to manage workflow across a varied portfolio.
