Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking an Accounts Semi-Senior in Wilmslow. You will prepare year-end accounts for various client structures, handle corporation tax, and manage a portfolio with direct client contact. The role offers hybrid working and a structured progression path.

The ideal candidate has experience in practice, a solid grasp of corporation tax, and the capacity to work independently while coordinating with managers and senior staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accountancy practice and preparing year-end accounts.
• Good understanding of corporation tax and ability to handle client queries.
• Ability to manage own workload and portfolio and progress to review stage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end accounts for companies, LLPs and sole traders.
• Prepare corporation tax computations and returns.
• Manage your own portfolio and workload.
• Deal directly with clients and resolve queries.
• Chase and obtain outstanding information from clients.
• Manage multiple jobs at different stages of completion.
• Prepare accounts to FRS 102 / FRS 105.
• Complete work through to manager review stage.
• Respond to review points and make amendments as required.
• Build strong and professional client relationships.
• Work closely with managers and senior team members.
