ACCA Careers in Brighton is seeking an Accounts Receivable Controller to keep accounting records accurate and support the day-to-day running of the Accounting & Finance department.

You will manage core accounts receivable tasks so that financial information is clear, up to date and useful to the wider business. This is a permanent role with a salary range of £28,000 to £31,000 depending on experience.

• Maintain accurate accounts receivable records to keep financial information current and reliable.
• Process customer payments and ensure they are allocated correctly within the finance system.
• Prepare and issue invoices, helping to maintain clear and timely billing records.
• Review outstanding balances and follow up on unpaid invoices in a professional manner.
• Respond to payment and invoice queries, providing clear information to internal contacts and customers.
• Reconcile accounts receivable transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain organised finance documentation so records can be easily accessed when needed.
• Work closely with the Accounting & Finance department to support accurate day-to-day financial administration.

A Successful Accounts Receivable Controller Should Have

• Experience of maintaining accurate financial records and processing payments.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills for handling invoice and payment queries.
