Job summary

TC Group is a fast-growing Top 20 UK accountancy firm seeking an Accounts and Quality Manager to bolster the central compliance team. The role focuses on quality, regulatory compliance and M&A activity across the group, with non-client facing duties and travel to group offices as required.

Qualified or qualified by experience, you will ensure consistency of standards, provide practical support across offices and contribute to improving group processes through guidance and training.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/ICAS qualification or qualification by experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and accounts file requirements.
• Excellent written, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Practical, solutions-focused approach to regulatory compliance and quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts cold file review programme across offices.
• Conduct on-site compliance due diligence reviews for prospective acquisitions.
• Contribute to DD reports by identifying material risks and remedies.
• Monitor compliance actions before completion and post-acquisition integration.
• Provide practical support on policy application and best practices.
• Develop guidance, training and improvements from quality reviews and due diligence findings.
• Assist central compliance team with ad hoc projects.
