Job summary

Confidential is seeking an accounting professional to manage general ledgers, payroll, and credit control across the group. The role involves Sage 50 ledgers, bank reconciliations, invoicing, VAT and PAYE compliance, and payroll processing. You will liaise with management to resolve queries and ensure separations between group entities.

The position requires accurate data entry, attention to compliance protocols, and the ability to handle ad hoc requests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Nominal/General/Sales and Supplier Ledgers on Sage 50.
• Reconcile bank accounts (Current and Financing company) and upload invoices to Sage 50 and portals.
• Process costs and payment of suppliers using Sage and Payroll software.
• Reconcile income and cost of sales weekly and monthly.
• Calculate commission payments.
• Maintain and update compliance protocols with certain suppliers.
• Ensure separation of functions from other group companies.
• Liaise with management to resolve queries.
• HMRC accounts – VAT and PAYE.
• Address ad hoc requirements as requested.
