A family-owned opticians and hearing care company in Birmingham is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead the accounts payable team. The role involves managing invoice processing, supplier relations, and team performance while ensuring efficient operations. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and prior experience in finance roles.
Your duties will include supervising accounts payable team members, working with the Finance Manager in taking day to day responsibility for the submissions and approval of supplier invoices and expenses in Sage, leading the team and providing regular support, internet banking payments processing and be responsible for supplier queries ensuring they are dealt with in timely fashion. Applicants will have previous experience in a similar role as well as great interpersonal skills with the ability to plan organise and with a "hands on" approach with a keen eye for detail.
