Job summary

Eriez in the United Kingdom is seeking a Purchase Ledger/Accounts Clerk to manage the purchase ledger and related account functions. The role involves daily record-keeping, filing delivery notes and invoices, and posting payments.

You will match invoices, reconcile statements, and handle supplier queries, while supporting month-end activities and process improvements. Manufacturing experience is desirable and Sage 200 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience desirable but not essential.
• Able to work in a team or individually.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate purchase ledger records daily.
• Process delivery notes, POs and invoices.
• Match invoices to delivery notes and POs.
• Post invoices and reconcile statements monthly.
• Assist with month-end reconciliations.
• Liaise with departments to resolve queries.
• Prepare payment runs and remit payments.
• Process supplier updates via Docusign.
• Cover other accounts roles as needed.
