ICAEW in Oldham is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a 6-month interim contract. The role is fully on-site with an immediate start and offers a salary up to £45,000.

You will take ownership of the purchase ledger, processing invoices and ensuring timely payments within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has proven accounts payable experience, strong reconciliation skills, and is proficient with Excel and finance systems.

Formación

• Proven Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger experience.
• Experience in a high-volume processing environment.
• Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident using finance systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to prioritise a busy workload and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
• Available to commence work immediately or at short notice.

Responsabilidades

• Process high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Match, batch and code invoices.
• Manage invoice approvals and resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile supplier statements and investigate outstanding items.
• Handle supplier and stakeholder queries in a timely manner.
• Prepare and support regular payment runs.
• Maintain accurate supplier records and account information.
• Assist with month-end processes and reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company procedures.
• Work closely with the wider finance team to support business objectives.
