Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting an Accounts Payable Assistant in Milton Keynes to support the finance team during a period of expansion following an acquisition.

You will manage end-to-end supplier invoices, three-way matching, payments, reconciliations and reporting using ERP systems and Excel with pivot tables and lookups.

This office-based role is five days a week, offering private healthcare, an enhanced pension, and free on-site parking as part of a supportive finance team.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume AP or purchase ledger environments.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups.
• Confidence working across ERP systems to extract financial information.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end processing of supplier invoices.
• Assist with three-way matching and investigate discrepancies.
• Process non-PO invoices and allocate costs.
• Prepare payment runs and settle supplier accounts.
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations and respond to queries.
• Assist with vendor onboarding and maintain supplier records.
• Support month-end reporting and reconciliations.
• Produce AP reports using ERP and Excel.
• Monitor goods received and invoices for accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with finance, operations and wider business.
