Job summary

Salt Separation Services Ltd. seeks an Assistant Accountant to join the Finance team in Rochdale. You will support Accounts Payable, maintain supplier relationships and help prepare accurate financial data under the Head of Finance.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will process invoices, manage ledgers and contribute to month-end activities in a growing, family-owned engineering business in the UK.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in a finance role, with Accounts Payable focus.
• Proven end-to-end purchase ledger experience.

Responsibilities

• Process and post supplier invoices accurately and timely.
• Download invoices from portals and match to docs.
• Resolve AP queries and maintain unposted invoices log.
• Prepare, review aged creditors reports and assist payments.
• Post journals and perform general ledger analysis.
• Support monthly close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with annual audits and stock takes.
