Job Description

Our client, a rapidly growing company in the construction industry located in Bolton, has an opening for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. The role is open due to internal promotion and will be responsible for owning the entire AP process, job costing, ageing reports, as well as month end reconciliation. This position presents an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking professional growth and the chance to work with a company on exciting and upcoming construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Process all payments, POs, job costing
• Manage the month-end process for AP
• Manage Accounting records
• Credit card reconciliation
• Prepare AP ageing reports
• Solving any payment related discrepancies
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Controller

Requirements:

• A minimum of two years of full-cycle AP experience
• Experience in the construction industry is considered an asset
• A post-secondary degree or diploma in accounting or a related field is required
