A leading company is seeking an Accounts Payable Risk, Control and Governance Manager to oversee payment processing risks and ensure robust financial controls. This role is ideal for someone experienced in Accounts Payable operations processing who is passionate about ensuring processes operate within a robust control environment and risks are mitigated appropriately. It suits someone with a strong background in designing effective finance controls within Accounts Payable and creating a controlled environment for AP team processes.
A bit about the job:
This role oversees the Accounts Payable processes, ensuring payment processing risks are assessed, controls are designed and implemented effectively, and compliance with governance standards is maintained. You will join a dynamic team focused on maintaining robust financial controls and improving payment processes. Responsibilities include monitoring team performance, managing payment risks, documentation of risks and controls, ongoing quality assurance, and leading deep-dive reviews of offshore team processes. You will identify areas for process risk and control enhancements and be responsible for implementing those controls. There may also be opportunities to participate in transformation projects, ensuring AP processes remain controlled during significant changes.
