Job summary

INEOS Inovyn is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to manage the end-to-end invoice process and ensure accurate, timely payments across a European supplier base. You will join our Central Financial Controlling team in an international environment where collaboration and continuous improvement are valued.

You will handle multiple ERP systems (with SAP) and contribute to process improvements while maintaining strong supplier relationships. Fluent English and 2–3 years in AP are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum A-Level or equivalent qualification.
• 2–3 years experience in Accounts Payable or Finance Admin.
• Strong understanding of AP processes and controls.
• Experience with SAP ERP system.
• Knowledge of VAT and invoice processing requirements.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of suppliers and end‑to‑end invoice process.
• Verify approvals, goods receipts, supporting documentation, and VAT treatment.
• Handle logistics invoices and self‑billing where applicable.
• Monitor invoice workflows and resolve discrepancies to ensure timely payment.
• Investigate blocked invoices and supplier credit notes and resolve promptly.
• Maintain supplier accounts and ensure payments comply with terms.
• Address supplier queries professionally and build strong relationships.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve disputes with Procurement, Finance and site teams.
• Support weekly payment runs and monitor overdue balances.
• Prepare reports and performance statistics for Accounts Payable Manager.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and invoice automation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across Accounts Payable.

What you'll do

• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the Accounts Payable function.

What we're looking for

You are a detail‑oriented finance professional who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, and working in a fast‑paced international environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum A‑Level, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent qualification.
• 2–3 years of experience within an Accounts Payable or Finance Administration role.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes and controls.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Good knowledge of VAT and invoice processing requirements.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
