H-Power is seeking an Accounts Payable Lead to take ownership of the day-to-day AP function in our Surrey-based finance team. You will manage supplier payments, bank reconciliations and help drive process improvements.

With at least two years in a similar role, you’ll have AAT Level 3 or equivalent, solid double-entry bookkeeping and UK VAT knowledge, and confidence with Excel and ERP systems (Sage 200 would be a plus).

Looking for an accounts payable role where you can take real ownership of your work, rather than simply process invoices?

H-Power is a UK clean-energy technology business developing innovative hydrogen and ammonia-based power solutions, helping industries move away from traditional diesel-powered systems.

As the business continues to develop its technology and commercial operations, there's an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Lead to join its finance team in Dunsfold, Surrey.

Working closely with the Head of Finance and Finance Business Partners, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day accounts payable function, while getting involved in wider financial processes and improvements.

What experience will you need?

We're looking for someone with at least two years' experience in a similar accounts payable or finance position, alongside:

• AAT Level 3 or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• A good understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and UK VAT.
• Confidence using Excel and accounting or ERP systems. Sage 200 experience would be particularly useful.

Above all, you'll be organised, accurate and comfortable taking responsibility for your own work.
