Job summary

Confidential client in Norwich is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join the Finance team. You will support the AP function, processing supplier invoices and maintaining accurate coding while collaborating with internal departments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good understanding of cost centres and financial coding.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and credit notes in line with terms.
• Manage high volume invoices via electronic workflow.
• Match goods-received invoices to purchase orders and service invoices.
• Ensure supporting documentation is complete for approval and audit.
• Code invoices to cost centres with Finance coordination.
• Liaise with Procurement and internal teams to resolve queries.
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide cover for other team members during busy periods.
