Job summary

A well-established business in Doncaster seeks a Purchase Ledger to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will manage supplier invoices, process payments, and support month-end activities. This role requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.

Qualifications

  • 2 years experience in a busy accounts department, preferably in Purchase Ledger.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Processing and allocating supplier payments.
  • Resolving invoice queries and liaising with suppliers.
  • Preparing month-end accruals and managing customer invoices.

Elevation Accountancy and Finance are extremely excited to be working with a great business in the Doncaster area as they look to recruit a Purchase Ledger on a full time, permanent basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Printing, Logging & processing Supplier Invoices
  • Resolving Invoice Queries
  • Liaising with suppliers and purchasing department on a regular basis
  • Creating and maintaining Supplier Accounts
  • Dealing with Supplier queries
  • Processing and allocating Supplier Payments
  • Processing expenses
  • Preparing month end accruals
  • Processing customer credit card payments including requesting payment from customers
  • Raising and emailing customer invoices

Person Specification:

  • 2 Years previous experience working in a busy accounts department preferably with experience in Purchase Ledger
  • Strong Excel Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels
  • Ability to pick up and understand the requirements of the role quickly
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues and clients
  • Strong numeracy, organisational, communication and interaction skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
