ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ASSISTANT

ARE YOU THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
Accounts Payable are responsible for processing all invoices/credit notes to the respective Ledger accounts in order to make sure suppliers are paid correctly and in a timely manner. All invoices and credit notes received should be allocated to the rightful projects, departments, i.e. cost codes and GL code. Acknowledges the terms of the invoices, and relays that information to Accounts Payable Manager whilst also supporting Accounts Payable manager with various tasks.
- Processing and checking invoices/credit notes daily
- Query investigation and resolution
- Chasing for missing invoices and credit notes
- Finance administration and inbox maintenance
- Liaising with stakeholders across multiple sites.
- Scanning Post
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Downloading invoices from portals (e.g. fuel, utilities etc. mobile phones etc)
- Posting invoices in Esker
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING TO ROUTECO?We would prefer if the applicant has at least 2 years work experience in Accounts payable and has also an understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting skills is required.
A degree in the following subjects would be beneficial for an Accounts Payable career:
