Qualifications

• Participation in a Modern Apprenticeship with ongoing support from an Assessor.
• Comply with HMRC VAT rules, Law Society of Scotland Solicitors’ Accounts Rules, and SRA Accounts Rules 2011.
• Full training towards duties within the Accounts Payable team.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices via Emburse Enterprise, including general ledger and client-related costs.
• Process and arrange payment of employee and partner expense claims.
• Handle group credit card and virtual card transactions and reconcile accounts.
• Maintain vendor records in line with risk management policies.
• Prepare weekly supplier payment runs via BACS.
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Upload internal recharges to the practice management system.
• File documentation in online Cashroom filing locations.
• Attend meetings and contribute to Accounts Payable procedures and documentation updates.
• Support other cashroom teams with ad-hoc duties.
