Job summary

Group Lotus is seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator for our Hethel site in Norfolk. This temporary role supports the Finance Department by processing supplier invoices, VAT admin, data entry and reconciliation tasks to keep our ledgers accurate.

You will work on-site at least three days a week, communicating with internal teams to resolve invoice issues and ensuring timely payments. UK work eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role preferred
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
• Confident working independently as well as part of a team
• Proactive and organised, able to take ownership
• GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English

Lotus Cars Limited is the manufacturing site of Lotus in the UK. Here we produce all sportscars types such as the Emira and the Evija. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Accounts Payable Administrator in the Finance Department to join us in our manufacturing plantbased in Hethel.

This is a temporary role, based at our site in Hethel, Norfolk.

Summary

What you'll do:

• Accurately process supplier invoices within agreed timelines
• Process invoices and VAT admin
• Data entry
• Investigate and resolve supplier queries in a timely and professional manner
• Reconcile supplier statements to ledger balances
• Distribute supplier correspondence and ensure documentation is properly filed
• Liaise with internal teams to resolve invoice disputes and approval issues
• Raise and manage supplier debit notes and cancellations
• Maintain accurate data in the finance system
• Prepare supplier payment runs and post to the cash book
• Identify process improvements and provide feedback/training to relevant teams
• Perform reconciliations and error checks on control accounts and intercompany balances

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role is preferred but not essential
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
• Confident working independently as well as part of a team
• Proactive, organised, and able to take ownership of your work
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Minimum of GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in Math's and English

Additional Information:

• This role will be working from our Hethel plant within our flexible working policy, however the role would be required to be based on site in Hethel, at least 3 days per week.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in UK without VISA sponsorship.
• This role will be pay rolled by one of our supporting agencies.
• £13.91 per hour
• Up to 12 weeks
