Job summary

Lotus Cars in Coventry seeks a UK Sales Support & Budget Coordinator to join the UK Sales team. The role covers order-to-delivery, planning, retailer support, fleet admin, budget management and reporting, working closely with Logistics, Marketing, Finance and the UK Retailer Network.

This is an on-site role five days a week at the Coventry office. The successful candidate will support OTD, Sales Planning, LCMS usage, and budget reporting while driving continuous improvements in sales operations

Qualifications

• Experience supporting sales operations or dealer/retailer operations.
• Automotive industry exposure or strong understanding of automotive sales ops.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Experience with data, analysis and reporting.
• Understanding of sales funnel analysis and forecasting.
• Experience using Power BI or Tableau for reporting.
• Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Order-to-Delivery (OTD) processes to ensure efficient sales fulfilment.
• Monitor and assist UK Sales Planning and forecasting activities.
• Champion LCMS usage and incorporate VME into online platforms.
• Serve as a main contact for the UK Retailer Network and resolve inquiries.
• Collaborate with Logistics to optimize vehicle transport and loading.
• Support the UK demonstrator fleet operations across Marketing and Brand teams.
• Assist MVRIS, DVLA and CAP HPI data accuracy on external platforms.
• Contribute to BPM processes and continuous improvement of sales ops.
• Assist Used Car Sales with inventory and in-/out-fleet processes.
• Manage purchase orders and invoices; monitor the departmental budget.

About the Role

Lotus is looking for a UK Sales Support & Budget Coordinator to join our UK Sales team based in Coventry.

This is a varied role at the heart of our UK commercial operations, supporting the Sales team across order-to-delivery, sales planning, retailer support, fleet administration, budget management and reporting.

Working closely with Sales Management and teams across Logistics, Marketing, Brand, Finance and our UK Retailer Network, you’ll help ensure our day-to-day sales operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Please note, this is a fully on-site position based at our Coventry office, five days per week.

What You’ll Be Doing

As UK Sales Support & Budget Coordinator, you will:

• Support the Order-to-Delivery (OTD) team to ensure efficient sales fulfilment
• Monitor and support the UK Sales Planning process
• Champion retailer and internal use of LCMS, including the incorporation of VME into our online platform
• Act as a key point of contact for the UK Retailer Network, responding to queries and helping resolve issues promptly
• Work closely with Logistics to optimise vehicle transportation planning and truck-loading efficiency
• Support the operation and administration of the UK demonstrator fleet across Marketing, Brand and Corporate functions
• Support MVRIS, DVLA and CAP HPI requirements, ensuring Lotus products are represented accurately across external platforms
• Support the department's BPM processes
• Support Used Car Sales, including inventory management and vehicle in-fleeting and de-fleeting processes
• Contribute to continuous improvement across sales operations processes, systems and reporting
• Control and monitor the departmental budget, providing accurate reporting
• Manage purchase order (PO) and invoice processing
• Maintain strong working relationships across internal teams, retailers and external partners

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with:

• Previous experience supporting sales operations, sales processes or dealer/retailer operations
• Automotive industry experience or a strong understanding of automotive sales operations
• Familiarity with sales and business applications, ideally including SAP
• Experience working with data, analysis and reporting
• An understanding of sales funnel analysis and forecasting
• Experience using BI and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement

Additional Information

• This role will be working from our Coventry office. This role will be working on-site, full time.
• Frequent travel might be required to visit different entities. Applicants must therefore possess the ability to travel freely without restrictions.
