Ambition Europe Limited, a well-established independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Loughton, Essex, seeks an experienced Accounts Manager to lead a varied client portfolio and develop a professional team. The role is onsite full-time initially, with a probation period offering the possibility to work from home one day per week.

The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified with strong UK GAAP knowledge, VAT awareness, and proven client portfolio management within a mid-tier

Qualifications

• Experience managing a client portfolio within a mid-tier practice.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and statutory accounts.
• Excellent communication and team development skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of client assignments from planning to completion.
• Liaise with clients to understand their needs and tailor each assignment.
• Delegate and review team work to ensure high standards and timely delivery.
• Lead team performance and development, including appraisals and feedback.
