Job summary

Clark Wood are recruiting an experienced Senior Accounts Manager to join a respected firm of Chartered Accountants in Thornbury.

You will lead the OMB accounts team, manage a diverse client portfolio of SMEs and entrepreneurial businesses, and work with Partners on growth and advisory services.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Strong UK accountancy practice experience
• Proven Accounts Manager / Client Manager experience
• Strong accounts, tax and advisory knowledge
• Excellent client and communication skills
• Commercial approach with the ability to advise business owners

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing the OMB accounts team
• Managing a portfolio of OMBs, SMEs and entrepreneurial clients
• Acting as a key client contact
• Reviewing statutory and management accounts
• Reviewing tax compliance work
• Providing commercial accounting advice
• Managing workflow, deadlines and quality
• Coaching and mentoring junior staff

Clark Wood are recruiting for an experienced Senior Accounts Manager to join a respected firm of Chartered Accountants in Thornbury.

The role would suit an ACA/ACCA qualified Accounts Manager or Client Manager looking for a senior leadership role, with a potential pathway to Director.

You’ll lead an established OMB team, manage a varied client portfolio and work closely with Partners on the growth of the practice.

The Role
