JDR Recruitment Ltd in Aberdeen is helping a well-established business in Tullos recruit an Accounts & Finance Supervisor to join their team. Reporting to the Finance Director, the role covers daily finance operations, ledgers, invoicing, reconciliations and financial reporting.

You will have hands-on Xero experience (essential), solid knowledge of sales/purchase ledgers, credit control and month-end processes, plus strong Excel and communication skills.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Managing daily finance administration and ledgers using Xero.
• Processing customer and supplier invoices and payments.
• Carrying out reconciliations for bank, credit cards and control accounts.
• Supporting credit control activities and overdue balances.
• Assisting with month-end and quarter-end procedures and journals.
• Producing management information and financial reporting.

JDR Recruitment are delighted to be working on behalf of our client, a well-established business based in Tullos, Aberdeen, who are looking to appoint an experienced Accounts & Finance Supervisor to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys being involved in all aspects of the finance function and takes pride in maintaining accurate financial records. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of finance operations while helping to improve processes and reporting across the business.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Managing daily finance administration using Xero
• Maintaining accurate sales and purchase ledgers
• Processing customer invoices, supplier invoices, payments and banking transactions
• Completing bank, credit card and control account reconciliations
• Supporting credit control activities, including monitoring overdue accounts and outstanding balances
• Assisting with month-end and quarter-end procedures, including journals, accruals and prepayments
• Producing management information and supporting financial reporting requirements
• Responding promptly and professionally to customer and supplier queries
• Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and reporting systems

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Strong hands-on experience using Xero (essential)
• A solid understanding of sales ledger, purchase ledger, credit control and account reconciliations
• Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
• Confidence working with spreadsheets and financial reports
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• The ability to manage priorities and work to deadlines
• Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts supervisory position
