Job summary

Yallah Coffee is seeking an Accounts & Finance Manager to own our finances end to end, running day-to-day bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, supplier payments and monthly management reporting.

This is a genuine all-round finance role with real influence on how the business is run. As the business grows, the role will expand with it, offering ambitious individuals the chance to become a leading figure in our company.

Qualifications

• Solid double-entry bookkeeping and financial administration experience.
• Ability to oversee management accounts and financial analysis confidently. Develop profitability reporting by product, brand and sales channel using Xero and Shopify.
• Experience with intercompany accounting, as the business has two separate limited companies.
• Retail or e-commerce experience, ideally with Shopify or similar (we use A2X).
• Sharp analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• The ambition to develop into management accounts and financial analysis. This is a requirement of the role, not a nice-to-have.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day finances: bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, supplier payments, expenses.
• Manage credit control & aged receivables.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and coordinate with external accountants for year-end and tax.
• Forecast and manage cash flow.
• Produce monthly management accounts.
• Develop profitability reporting by product, brand and sales channel using Xero, Shopify, and analytics tools.
• Prepare budgets for Director approval and review spend with Marketing and E-Commerce Managers.

• Develop profitability reporting by product, brand and sales channel using Xero, Shopify Plus and our analytics tools.
• Prepare budgets for Director approval and meet monthly with our Marketing and E-Commerce Managers to review spend, ROI and pricing.
