Job summary

Moose Toys Ltd in Cornwall is seeking an Accounts Coordinator to own day-to-day accounts payable, supplier payments and treasury support across the UK and Europe. You will ensure accurate transactions, manage multi-currency payments and help strengthen financial controls.

Reporting to the CFO - Europe, you will coordinate payment runs, assist cash forecasting and act as finance super-user for the AP module, driving process improvements and closer collaboration with suppliers and banking partners.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a finance, treasury, accounts payable or accounting role.
• Strong Excel skills, including reconciliations, analysis and reporting.
• Experience using ERP systems and online banking platforms.
• Outstanding attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• A structured and analytical problem-solver, with a continuous improvement mindset and a willingness to embrace new systems, tools and smarter ways of working.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• A confident communicator and collaborative team player who builds strong relationships across the business and is equally comfortable working independently.

The Role

As our Accounts Coordinator, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of accounts payable and payment processes across our UK and European finance function. You'll ensure supplier transactions and payments are handled accurately, efficiently and in line with our financial controls.

Reporting to the CFO - Europe, you'll coordinate multi-currency payment runs, support banking and treasury activities, contribute to short-term cashflow forecasting and help identify potential cash risks or funding requirements. You'll also be the first point of contact for accounts payable and payment queries, working closely with colleagues, suppliers and banking partners to resolve issues and keep processes moving.

Alongside the day-to-day responsibilities, you'll have the opportunity to improve processes, strengthen controls and reduce manual activity. You'll also act as the finance super-user for the Accounts Payable module, supporting users and contributing to system upgrades and improvements.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in a finance, treasury, accounts payable or accounting role
• Strong Excel skills, including reconciliations, analysis and reporting
• Experience using ERP systems and online banking platforms
