Job description

Accounts Coordinator

Assist the Accounts Manager with the day-to-day management, maintenance and processing of the company accounts and financial records.

Key Duties:
  1. Daily bank reconciliation and cash flow control.
  2. Inputting of sales and purchase invoices and bank statements into the accounting system.
  3. Management and maintenance of the fixed asset register.
  4. Processing of monthly accounting journals.
  5. Production of month end management accounts.
  6. Preparation and submission of payroll requests and arrangement of payment.
  7. Regulatory pension contributions processing.
  8. Assisting the production of yearly cash flow and P&L projections, working closely with the Accounts Manager.
  9. Assist with daily new business tracking and figures management.
  10. Maintain a number of internal Accounts Logs to ensure they remain up to date.
  11. Answering telephone calls in a timely, courteous, and efficient manner and accurately logging information on all calls received.
  12. Assisting the Accounts Manager with facility management, auditing and general office administration.
Skills & Experience:
  1. AAT qualified - desirable, not essential.
  2. A Level or equivalent - Maths desirable.
  3. Minimum 9 GCSEs grade 5 or above - including English and Maths.
  4. Previous experience in basic accounting.
  5. Competent using Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
