Our client, a leading UK accountancy and advisory firm, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join their Business Outsourcing Services team in Salisbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for a practice-trained professional looking to step into a client-facing, compliance-focused role within a highly respected and growing firm.

The Role

As Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality compliance services to a varied portfolio of clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing annual financial statements, including statutory accounts, trust accounts, partnership accounts, and sole trader accounts
  • Managing your own portfolio of clients and acting as their key point of contact
  • Overseeing and mentoring junior staff working on your portfolio
  • Collaborating with other departments to deliver a seamless client experience
  • Ensuring work is delivered to a high standard and in line with deadlines and regulatory requirements
What We\'re Looking For
  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), or qualified by experience
  • Strong background in practice, ideally within a business outsourcing or accounts compliance team
  • Proficiency with accounting software and a solid understanding of UK GAAP
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive, client-focused approach with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement
