Job summary

NHS National Services Scotland is seeking an Accounts Clerk (Band 3) for the Accounts Team in Stornoway. The post is 36 hours per week, permanent, with a distant islands allowance. Duties include processing invoices, VAT recovery, and handling financial queries with internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will join a dedicated team, work on standard financial processes, and contribute to accurate financial reporting. PVG clearance is required; relocation is not eligible.

Accounts Clerk

Band 3 £29,103 - £31,409 per annum

Plus £1,461 Distant Islands Allowance per annum

An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Clerk to join the Accounts Team based in the Health Board Offices, Stornoway. Duties will include processing invoices, vat recovery, investigating queries and liaising with internal and external stakeholders on various financial matters.
