Job summary

A well-established business in Telford is seeking an Accounts Clerk to handle transactional accounting duties. Responsibilities include processing invoices, payroll input, and bank reconciliations. Ideal candidates will have some accounts experience and advanced MS Excel skills. The position is permanent, offering a salary between £26,000 and £30,000 per annum depending on experience. This role is full-time, Monday to Friday.

Accounts Clerk

We are working with a well-established business based in Telford who are looking for an Accounts Clerk to join the team. They are looking for someone who is looking to learn and progress in an accounts role. You will be mainly completing transactional accounting duties.

Responsibilities
  • Processing supplier invoices
  • Processing expense receipts / claims
  • Payroll inputting
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Processing credit card statements
  • Checking entries into the accounting software to ensure that invoices and VAT have been entered correctly
  • Putting together and monitoring cashflows
Skills and Experience

The successful candidate needs to have some accounts experience/knowledge. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel would be a big advantage. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be able to communicate with people at all levels.
