Job summary

Howett Thorpe is seeking an ambitious Accounts & Audit Apprentice in Camberley. You will combine AAT Level 4 studies with practical experience across accounts and audit, under the supervision of experienced staff.

The role offers a clear route to ACA qualification and a long-term career in finance. You’ll gain exposure to a varied client base and progressively take on more responsibilities as you develop technical knowledge and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts.
• Support audit assignments and complete basic audit testing.
• Prepare working papers and supporting schedules.
• Assist with bookkeeping and accounting tasks where required.
• Gain experience working with clients across different sectors.
• Assist with day-to-day client queries.
• Develop your understanding of accounting standards and audit procedures.
• Work closely with senior members of the team.
• Take on additional responsibilities as your experience develops.

Job description

Accounts & Audit Apprentice - About The Role
