Job summary

Scrutton Bland, part of the Sumer Group, is seeking a Trainee Client Support in Ipswich. The role suits someone with experience in accounting or finance who wants to grow their knowledge in client service and advisory work.

Department: Business Advisory; Location: Ipswich. You will contribute to statutory financial statements, management accounts, forecasts, and tax compliance while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Partway through ACCA or ACA, or AAT qualified.
• Experience in accountancy or finance environment.
• Ability to analyse and interpret information.
• personable and able to build client relationships.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Xero experience preferred.
• Able to use initiative with technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and review of statutory financial statements.
• Support production of management accounts and forecasts.
• Assist with tax compliance work (personal and corporate returns).
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with team to meet deadlines and share knowledge.
