Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment is seeking an Accounts Associate for a well-established Ipswich accountancy practice. You will gain hands-on experience with statutory accounts, management accounts, and tax compliance while developing toward a chartered qualification.

Qualifications

AAT qualification or studying ACCA/ACA.
Experience in an accountancy or finance environment.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in interpreting financial information.
Confident and professional when dealing with clients.
Experience with Excel and cloud accounting software is desirable.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review statutory accounts and financial statements.
Assist with management accounts, analysis, commentary and forecasting.
Support tax compliance and return preparation.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Collaborate with colleagues to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality client service.
Ensure work is accurate, compliant and completed to a high standard.
