ProTalent Limited is recruiting an Accounts Associate in Brighton on a role that offers a clear path through to ACA. You will begin with fully funded AAT, day release, while gaining experience across bookkeeping, VAT and audit support in a growing accountancy group.

You will work with Xero and Sage, handle client inquiries and contribute to office administration, with a defined route to Chartered Accountant status within the firm.

Qualifikationen

• At least 1 year experience in an accountancy firm.
• Minimum five GCSEs at grade A-C or equivalent; A levels preferred.
• Working knowledge of Xero or Sage, plus Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Genuine attention to detail and client-facing communication.

Aufgaben

• Bookkeeping for clients using Xero, Sage and Excel from source documents.
• Preparing and filing VAT returns.
• Support the audit team with file prep and client site visits.
• Filing client documents with Companies House.
• Financial administration and electronic document management.
• Communicate with clients by phone and email about accounting queries.
• Assist with general office duties and welcoming clients.
