Job summary

Autograph Recruitment is looking for an Accounts Assistant or Semi Senior Accountant to join their well-established accountancy practice in central Bath. The role involves preparing accounts, bookkeeping, and assisting with management accounts.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years' experience in a UK accountancy setting and be AAT qualified or studying towards ACA/ACCA. Strong attention to detail and familiarity with cloud-based accounting software such as Xero or Sage are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in UK accountancy practice.
• AAT qualified or studying towards ACA/ACCA.
• Experience with cloud-based accounting software is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and companies.
• Complete bookkeeping and conduct bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
