Job summary

KCR Solutions are supporting this growing business in their search for an experienced Accounts Assistant. This varied role supports the day-to-day finance function across multiple entities in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have strong Sage Line 50 experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The firm offers a supportive, friendly environment and parking.

Qualifications

• 5+ years accounting experience.
• Experience with multi-entity environments.
• Strong Sage Line 50 experience and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Process financial transactions within Sage Line 50.
• Reconcile bank, cash and credit card accounts.
• Maintain sales and purchase ledgers.
• Prepare and reconcile VAT returns.
• Post journals including accruals and prepayments.
• Assist with year-end trial balance reconciliations.
• Ensure HMRC and Companies House deadlines are met.
• Post invoices and allocate rents received.
• Reconcile client deposit accounts.
• Chase rental arrears as required.
• Support general office administration.
