Job summary

Sytner Group is seeking an Accounts Assistant (Purchase Ledger Clerk) at Mercedes-Benz of Newcastle. The role focuses on processing supplier invoices, reconciliations and supporting month‑end processes in a fast-paced automotive office.

You will need prior Purchase Ledger experience, Excel proficiency and good IT literacy. Knowledge of Kerridge/Keyloop is helpful but not essential, with the ability to work to tight deadlines as part of a small team.

Qualifications

• Experience in Purchase Ledger or accounts department routines.
• Good working knowledge of Excel.
• IT literacy and ability to prioritise tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and reconcile statements.
• Process payment runs and maintain accurate financial records.
• Respond to supplier queries and support month‑end processes.
• Assist Accounts Team with ad‑hoc duties as required.
