Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of Newcastle is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the team as a Purchase Ledger Clerk, handling supplier invoices, statement reconciliations and timely payment runs within a busy office. You should have solid experience in Purchase Ledger, a good working knowledge of Excel, and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Kerridge/Keyloop knowledge is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Purchase Ledger and accounts department routines.
• Good working knowledge of Excel.
• Familiarity with Kerridge/Keyloop is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and reconciliations.
• Manage payment runs and month-end tasks.
• Respond to supplier queries and maintain accurate records.
• Support ad-hoc duties within the Accounts Team.
