Job description

Accounts Assistant - Purchase Ledger

Salary: up to £27,500 depending on experience

Contract Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Hours: 37.5 per week

Location: Working from home and in the Bradford office.

About the role
  1. Work as part of the purchase ledger team to provide an effective, streamlined, and customer-focused service.
  2. Ensure all purchase ledger, personal expenses, and utility transactions are processed accurately and promptly, following all Anchor policies, procedures, and delegation of authority.
  3. Handle and resolve issues related to the processing of purchase ledger transactions.
About you
  1. Experience in Purchase Ledger.
  2. Studying towards AAT qualification is an advantage.
  3. Maths and English GCSEs (or equivalent).
  4. Good communication skills.
  5. Proficient in computer skills, preferably with Excel knowledge.
  6. Strong customer focus with the ability to deliver high-quality service.
  7. High numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  8. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage conflicting demands.
  9. Ability to meet deadlines.
