Your new company

We are working with a client based in Stockport that deals in manufacturing. They are looking for a part-time Accounts Assistant to join their team.

Your new role

As the Accounts Assistant, you will support the finance team with:

1. Production of weekly accounts
2. Month-end procedures, including balancing cost reports
3. Supporting operators with their understanding of the operation cost drivers
4. Supporting the operations team in capturing all stats and non-finance info to input into the accounts
5. Assisting with period Balance Sheet reconciliations
6. Weekly & monthly journal creation & postings

What you'll need to succeed

You will have:

• Previous experience in accounts, purchase ledger, and sales ledger
• Knowledge of Sage (Desirable)
• Proficient in Excel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
