Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts assistant role, at least 1-2 years.
• Actively studying towards an accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong Excel skills with familiarity in Xero or QuickBooks; media/e-commerce exposure is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers.
• Process purchase invoices, expenses and supplier payments.
• Raise sales invoices and support credit control activities.
• Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end close procedures.
• Maintain and update accounting systems.
• Support VAT return preparation and submissions.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Assist with audits and providing supporting documentation when required.
• Handle general finance admin and ad hoc tasks as needed.
