Michael Page Finance is recruiting an Accounts Assistant for an Exeter-based accountancy practice. The role offers increasing responsibility, hands-on accounts prep, tax, VAT, and bookkeeping as you progress within the firm.

You may be AAT qualified or studying AAT Level 4, or have experience; ACCA or other qualifications are also acceptable. Study support is on offer, with flexible hours and a competitive salary ranging £28,000–£32,000 depending on background.

Qualifications

• Experience in the accountancy practice sector.
• Background in accounts preparation, tax, bookkeeping, VAT.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts preparation, tax (personal and corporate), VAT, and bookkeeping.
• Provide support on management accounts and related accounting tasks.
• Develop technical skills and progress within the firm.

Education
